A striking set of polished petrified wood bookends! They can be displayed two different ways as shown in the first two photos. The inside reveals a crack in the original tree, but this is not a flaw; simply how the tree was fossilized. The backs of the bookends show the petrified bark of the ancient tree. The pieces are polished on 3 sides. The fourth side, bottom/back is roughly polished as shown in last photo. The bark is left in natural petrified state.

The pieces are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, except those natural to the tree and ancient wood grain.
