How do you paint your furniture? What paints do you use?
Each piece is cleaned, sanded and base coated with tinted primers, latex or milk paint. Layers of paint and tinted glazes achieve the look I want. I paint by hand, no spraying. All my furniture is finished with either a flat or satin acrylic sealant. This gives the piece durability and easy maintenance. Just a damp cloth to clean and no waxing!
Where do you find your vintage items?
I travel all over Texas and the Mid West to find unique items for those who love Vintage and the Rustic Modern look. Estate sales, flea markets, garage sales, antique shops, auctions, and donations from friends are where I find these treasures!

Are my payments secure? How do I pay?
You can pay with PayPal, Amazon Payments, Apple Pay or credit card. My store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide me with the online e-commerce platform that allows me to sell my products and services to you.
What is this store's return policy?
I will accept returns* if you notify me within 3 days of receiving item. Please ship item in original package within 7 days of delivery. Buyers are responsible for all shipping costs. Shipping fees are not refunded. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
*PLEASE NOTE: Items purchased through Instagram during a Flash Sale are final sales. No returns since these items are on sale.
Vintage and handmade items are unique. There might be small flaws or signs of age. I take great care and pride in my shop and want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Feel free to contact me with any questions before purchase!
What is the policy for items damaged during shipping?
In the case of a shipment arriving damaged, please contact me immediately for instructions. For me to file a claim, I will need photos of the damage which can be emailed to me within 3 days of receiving item. Please retain the contents you received and all the associated packing materials until your claim is settled. You may be asked to take them to your local Post Office for inspection later. Please do not reship the package unless instructed by me.
Once I have been reimbursed by USPS, Fedex or whatever shipper used, I will issue a refund for the purchase price of the damaged item. According to the USPS website, domestic claims are usually paid within 30 days.
Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?
Yes, I ship worldwide to all countries where shipments can be insured. I use USPS International.
How long until I receive my order?
I will ship 3-5 business days from order completion.
I prefer USPS Priority. But depending on the item, I will also go with Fedex or UPS. If there are any additional costs they will be added to the listing. Please let me know if you prefer an option before purchasing.
All packages are insured and will have a tracking number sent to the buyer, via email shipping notification.
All items are insured. I will not ship to countries that do not allow insurance on packages. Shipping quotes in listings are approximate. Any shipping overage will be refunded on international shipping.
Shipping prices are approximate USPS quotes.
International customers are responsible for duties, taxes, and other fees incurred on packages. Please be aware of your country's customs information before purchasing. This information can be found at your local post office or on the web.
How do you ship furniture? How long does it take for delivery?
For delivery of furniture, I prefer using the white glove/blanket wrapped delivery, Plycon. On smaller pieces I will use FedEx Ground. Delivery times vary based on their delivery schedule. Fedex Ground usually takes 3-5 business days. If shipping with Plycon, please allow 3-7 weeks for delivery.
Please understand that once a shipment is picked up and paid for via Plycon or Fedex you are now responsible for communicating with them. They are a third party shipping company and completely separate from Boulder Blue Studio.
Local curbside delivery available in Greater Houston area for $25 or $50.
LOCAL PICKUP is available at my studio located in The Woodlands, TX, 30 miles north of Houston and at The Blvd, 25241 Suite H, Tomball, TX.
What are the terms of the privacy and security policy?
SECTION 1 - WHAT DO I DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?
When you purchase something from my store, as part of the buying and selling process, I collect the personal information you give me such as your name, address and email address.
When you browse my store, I also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide me with information that helps me learn about your browser and operating system.
Email marketing: With your permission, I may send you emails about my store, new products and other updates.
SECTION 2 - CONSENT
How do you get my consent?
When you provide me with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, I imply that you consent to my collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.
If I ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, I will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

SECTION 4 - SHOPIFY
My store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide me with the online e-commerce platform that allows me to sell my products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

SECTION 5 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
In general, the third-party providers used by me will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.
However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.
For these providers, I recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.
In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.
As an example, if you are located in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United States, then your personal information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States legislation, including the Patriot Act.

SECTION 6 - SECURITY
To protect your personal information, I take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.
If you provide me with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, I follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.
SECTION 7 - COOKIES
Here is a list of cookies that I use. I’ve listed them here so you that you can choose if you want to opt-out of cookies or not.
_session_id, unique token, sessional, Allows Shopify to store information about your session (referrer, landing page, etc).
_shopify_visit, no data held, Persistent for 30 minutes from the last visit, Used by our website provider’s internal stats tracker to record the number of visits
_shopify_uniq, no data held, expires midnight (relative to the visitor) of the next day, Counts the number of visits to a store by a single customer.
cart, unique token, persistent for 2 weeks, Stores information about the contents of your cart.
_secure_session_id, unique token, sessional
storefront_digest, unique token, indefinite If the shop has a password, this is used to determine if the current visitor has access.
SECTION 8 - AGE OF CONSENT
By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given me your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.
If my store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that I may continue to sell products to you.
