Even though it is still August and in the 80's down here in Texas, I'm getting my shop ready for the Fall and holiday season. I recently put in some home decor items at The BLVD
in Tomball, TX.
I painted this reproduction dressing mirror in soft whites, greys and metallic gold that would look pretty in a room with a French Country, shabby chic or cottage look. It is stunning with a beveled mirror and new painted finish! The mirror is only available at The BLVD
or local delivery in the Greater Houston area.
Besides mirrors, another home decor item I like to paint are candle holders. I would find many that have a nice size and shape, but have a bad paint finish or an ugly color. I recently found this pair of baluster style holders that were white. I used iron oxide paint that rusts to create this Fall look. They are finished in a satin sealant so you don't get any rust on you!
I'm still in love with this Indigo blue that I painted a vintage chest
with. So, I repainted my little primitive cabinet with it. The blue really complements the oranges and rusts found in many Fall decor. At this time, the cabinet is only available at the BLVD or for local delivery.
If you have questions on the items you see in my booth, just contact me. And if you are in the Greater Houston area, come on by and shop The BLVD. And of course, please browse my online shop. I'll be putting in more new items soon!
Till next time!
