Decorating with Unique Candle Holders
A simple way to freshen your home decor is by using unique, vintage candle holders. A popular item in my online shop are these chunky wood candle holders, imported from India. I think they were originally old banisters and columns from small temples that are made in India. They have been cut into pieces and stripped of any paint.

I really like the flat metal pieces they put on the tops, instead of metal prongs. These days I use LED battery powered candles for convenience and safety. These candle holders are perfect to use with either type of candles, LED or wax.
Another favorite are these distressed wood candle holders with their rusty metal bands. They are repurposed into candle holders with metal tops with prongs. These candle holders look great with industrial or farmhouse decor.

When buying for my shop, I look for repurposed items that would make for unique decorative items.

Sometimes I find good looking candle holders, but I do not like the color. With some paint they are transformed!

Candle holders are so versatile to decorate with. They are easy to switch out to create a different look or decorate for the season!
Till next time!
