Even though it is still hot down here in Texas, it must be Fall because of all the antique/vintage shows that are going on throughout the state, including Round Top Antiques Week! Round Top, Texas hosts a huge gathering of vendors twice a year, in the Fall and Spring.
Round Top Antiques Week actually spans over 3 weeks and has various venues that are located over 10 miles along Highway 237. Vendors set up their wares in white tents, barns, dance halls, old houses and open fields.A favorite place I like to go is the field of Warrenton. Here you will find hundreds of vendors in open tents. Zapp Hall is one section of the field. Look at all the goodies behind the signs! You can spend all day just in the fields.
I went on a hot day with my antiquing buddy, Claudia of Claudia Camp Antiques. Here is a photo I took quickly as Claudia and I walked through another venue. We loved the huge iron urns.
I wish I knew who decorated this vignette because it caught my eye with all the succulents. Just love the plants with all the rusty metal! I also met Anita of Cedar Hill Farmhouse. If you love French Country then you will love her new book, French Accents!
Round Top is just one of many places I go to find the unique and vintage decor to put in my online shop. Just wish it would get a little cooler down here in Texas!
Till next time!
